Natık Gültekin, the founder of Gültekin Law Firm, graduated from Istanbul Kuleli Military High School and then from Ankara Military School in 1944 as the rank of “Tank Officer”. He served in the army until he's reached the rank of senior captain. He successfully completed many vocational courses until 1956, including in Germany in 1949. He graduated from Ankara Faculty of Law in 1959 and resigned from the army and started to work as a freelance lawyer in Diyarbakır. In 1960, he was one of the founders of the Association to Establish Ziya Gökalp University and subsequently among the board members. He is also one of the founders of Diyarbakır Dicle University. In 1965, he was elected to the Diyarbakır Regional Bar Association and served as the president of the bar association for two periods. In addition, he lectured English at Diyarbakır Health College for six years and lectured health law for three years at Diyarbakır Faculty of Medicine.

After Attorney Natık Gültekin passed away on May 26, 1998, Gültekin Law Office continued to serve with his son Attorney Mustafa Müjdat Gültekin and his daughter Attorney Zehra Belgin Karacadağ. Gültekin Law Firm has expanded its field of activity with the participation of Attorney Natık Barkın Gültekin (LL.M.) and Attorney Ümit Ceren Gültekin (LL.M.), from the third generation of the family.Our Law Firm continues to serve its clients from its current office in Kozyatağı.
